Trimaculatus Angel

Latin Name: Apolemichthys Trimaculatus
Common Name: Three-spot angel, trimax angel
Habitat: Indo-Australian Archipelago, the Phillipines,
and in the Indian Ocean to the African coast.
Sex: Unknown
Size: 8cm - 15cm
Temperature: 22° - 27°C (72° - 81°F)
Water Chemistry: pH: 7.8 to 8.5, hard - very hard.
Food: All kinds of live, frozen, and prepared foods.
A good formula that can be made at home consists of mussels, shrimp, squid,
and spinach.
Roger C. Steenes' book, Butterfly and Angelfishes of the World, suggests
"the tank walls should be covered with algae and the hobbyist should
offer mysis, artemia (frozen), flake food, freeze dried red mosquito larvae,
and enchytrae."

Notes: a beatiful yellow colour angel that adapts well
to the aquarium, however there have been reports that this angel has a
very selective feeding. a well balanced diet is recommended. also known
as the Three-spot Angelfish because of the two lateral spots just behind
the gill covers and the spot on the forehead!
