Common Name: Emerald Catfish

Habitat: Upper Amazon near Iquitos, Rio Ambyiacu, Rio Orosa.

Sex: The females are larger, plumper, and less colorful

Size: 4 inches(10 cm)

Temperature: 20° - 25°C (72° - 77°F)

Water Chemistry: pH: 5.8-7.8, soft.

Food: The usual fare for adult Corydoras, a good quality flake food, tablet food, frozen bloodworm and live bloodworms and white worms fed sparingly.

Difficulty: 1 Star (Very Easy)

Notes: A hardy catfish recommended for almost any community tank.
